Costa Rica Amapola Tarrazú coffee is grown in the renowned Tarrazú region, a place famous for its specialty Arabica beans and rich coffee culture. The coffee is cultivated at an altitude of 1,350 metres above sea level in areas like Los Frailes and Bustamante, where the perpetual springs provided by the Pacific Ocean enhance the coffee’s quality. The name “Tarrazú” comes from the ancient Huetar Indian tribe that once inhabited this area.
