Sumatra Mandheling Grade 1 Dark Roast delivers an intense and full-bodied coffee experience with a deep, heavy flavour profile. This dark roast brings out robust notes of chocolate, herbal undertones, earthy woodiness, and a hint of spice. The unique Giling Basah processing method adds to its syrupy body and slightly earthy aroma, making it an excellent choice for those who prefer a strong and bold cup.

Grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Leuser near the port of Padang in the Batak region of Sumatra, Sumatra Mandheling Grade 1 coffee benefits from the rich, fertile soil and high altitudes (800 to 1,500 metres) typical of Indonesian islands. The coffee undergoes the traditional Giling Basah (wet-hulled) process, giving it a signature dark colour and distinctive flavour profile. The beans are hand-picked three times (Triple-Picked) to ensure only cherries at optimum ripeness are used, resulting in a consistent and high-quality cup.
